" A girl can't read that sort of thing without her lipstick. "
I enjoy being different, don't you?
The season of seaweed shaker fries and samurai burgers are on the McDonald charts again. It has been that long, hasn’t it?
Someone like you would buy two fish burgers to make a double fish burger and finish the balanced bun just to make sure the experience of eating a double fish burger isn’t impossible because it’s was a seasonal promotion and that I’ve missed the season. Someone like you.
You’d strike a conversation with me. It’d be our first conversation. You.
does anyone else feel this way?
How do you validate happiness? I’d say a factor used to validate my subjective happiness is observation.
It’s a powerful tool. I like how you can infer through observations allowing an individual to feel valued. I feel like it aligns with an abstraction of love because we all deserved to be valued by our partner. Positively, an observation leads to small insights that can be showcased as either concern or love. Yet the downside of being valued is being complacent and maybe, unappreciative.
Another abstraction of love is where you lose yourself in the process of loving someone too much, and forgetting that you are special too. It’s not okay to think that it’s okay because of the circumstances. Things don’t change. People do. Things can’t fall short of expectations. People do. Things don’t lend themselves to emotions. People do. You will only keep getting what you’re getting if you keep doing what you’re doing if nothing is voiced or done.
It is innate for us to form relationships and no matter what we perceived as ideal, I know for sure that the relationship process goes both ways and never a one way street. There will never be an objective measure of love because of its intangible nature.
"Right now I’m not even sure if college is for me."
"Well, I’m going to sound a bit like a hippy… but everyone tells you to ‘follow your own path,’ then you’re put into an institution where you’re funneled down these predetermined tracks. Then you’re packaged up and regurgitated back into society. Like you’re a GI Joe. Or a Barbie."
"Society undervalues creativity. Many people think creativity just means decorating your room well, or choosing the right colors for your clothes. In reality, creativity is what underlies all change. Without creativity, the world would be stagnant."
